I just purchased a MacAlly IceCam2 and when I am in web-based chat rooms, I am unable to discover my webcam. It is connect and working through Skype and iChat but only the iSight comes up on the web-based ones.
What to do?

Bring up Skype and Go to "TOOLS", click on "OPTIONS," Then go to
"Audio Settings" and click on it. Make sure both the Microphone and
Speaker's are correctly chosen. Then
"make a free test call." Wait till the voice tells you to
record. Then when finished talking wait for the test persons voice to
insure your audio transmission is working. Then go back to options and
test your video settings. Click on Video Settings and proceed to set up
you video camera. Also, you can visit this site for additional
information to setup video.

Hope this helps. Bud

Hi,
A 6ya expert can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
The service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).
click here to download the app (for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
Good luck!
