You can get it repaired. Its maybe a resistor/s thats losing its value and needs to be replaced.
You can locate this on the mother board close to the or near to the Fly-back transformer section.
Good luck.

Well David, it sounds like you need to unplug and open back and try to stick your head up in set and look down into CRT's tubes, you may have phopser damage on one of the tubes, you will need to turn on to see it just be careful not to touch anything electrical

There is a green bowing line in the upper right hand corner of my TV

Projection TV sets are known to have two common problems. The first problem that is common to these sets is convergence failure. When this happens the TV will usually look 3D, Wavy/Distorted, etc. It may also shutdown and blink an error code.

The second common problem with Projection TV sets is dull video, halos around objects, white looking video, or red overpowers the screen. This is commonly caused by the fluid in the lens being clouded over.

There is a curveture in the screen in the upper left hand corner. The screen is shadowy with a lot of red bleeding through.

Most likely the Convergence IC's along with bias resistors have gone bad. It's not an expensive repair but I would take care of it as soon as possible. Usually in the area of $250.00 will take care of it.

No you cannot! There is a switch on the convergence pnl for complete convergence. You can make things 10 times worse if you don't know what your doing.
