!st draw lift motor failure, is there a small wrench in the lower left hand corner of the control panel when you initial turn it on, before using it? Touch the small wrench it will take you to another screen, then open the front door and close it. that will reset the machine, Also check to make sure there is no paper stuck behind the draw. make sure sure the paper is properly installed in the 1st draw. Does the the metal plate below the baper in the first draw lift OK by hand? if the code comes back the chance is the 1st draw lift motor is bad worse case the control board that controls the whole machine is bad. just don't use the 1st draw. Try this site they mite have parts.

Drum cleaning blade has gone bad. Especially true if the streaks seem to get progressively worse as you run multiple copies. In other words run 10 copies. If the last one out is worse than the first one out it is the drum cleaning blade. Cheap part...around $25

3 possible causes:
1) The optics are dirty thus making your copy darker. The test for this is to manually lighten the copy using the exposure control on the panel of your copier. Lighten the copy several positions and see if the copy gets better. If it does then the optics need to be cleaned.
2) The copier is overtoned. This means that the toner to developer concentration is to high. This will require a trained technician to lower the toner ratio and then recalibrate the toner/developer ration using the F8 mode.
3) If the shading gets much worse as you run say 10 copies in a row then the drum cleaning blade would be the cause. So run 10 copies of something and compare the first copy out with the tenth copy out. Do you see a dramatic difference in the amount of background or "shading"?

This is a lamp error, check that is not burned, or the thermal fuse.
1. Press the soft initialization on the right side of the control panel.
2. When the dot appears on the LCD after reboot, press the number 3 key.
3. The mode will change to the initialization screen.
4. Choose the selection for trouble reset.
5. After reboot the code will be cleared.
