If you referring to wiring harness for trailer towing...? A lot of aftermarket electrical adapters exist, where all you do is unplug your wiring harness that serves all your lights at the back of your truck...the new "pigtail" if you will....simply plugs into (Like a T fitting) your Male/female connectors you just unplugged, and fits just like factory. That's it....your ready to role. Just find the connector type you need for your particular type of trailer.
