I have no sound in movie mode with my g12

Try pushing the up arrow on the control wheel if you hear no sound during playback of a movie from the G12. The up/down arrows control audio volume during playback.

I NEED TO KNOW HOW TO ADJUST VOLUME ON PLAYBACK MODE FOR MY CYBER SHOT DIGITAL CAMERA MODEL DSC 2100

When I had a Sony Cybershot, during playback mode the volume was controlled with either the Up, Down or Left, Right buttons (the circle with the little pictures on it; it's been like 3 yrs since I had my Sony) & I could adjust while it was playing. Hope this helps.

Ixus 65 movie recording but no sounds

Try this. While in the shooting mode, in the menu under the tools tab there is a mute control that turns all sounds off. Also under volume there is a control for playback volume.

How do i turn the volume on

On the Setup Menu there is a "Sound Settings" item. Here you can turn on/off the button sound, control the shutter sound, and the volume of the shutter sound and the startup sound.

During movie and audio playback, you can adjust the volume by pressing the zoom buttons. W to lower, T to raise.

Bear in mind that the CoolPix wasn't really designed as a video camera or an audio recorder. It only has a small, not very sensitive microphone, so you're not going to get much sound from any distance.

No sound in recording videos

Do you mean in your camera or on your computer. If on your computer Google K-Lite. Hear you can download the codec drivers to update your computer to view and hear the movies you record.

Unfortunately this camera does not have audio capability when in the movie mode. The camera was designed intentionally without this feature.
