After pairing with my mobile (Nokia N73) I am able the listen to music only for 10 sec
Hi, I paired my BT8010 with my nokia N73. Pairing went through fine. I am able to take calls without any problems. The problem is with the music streaming. Within 10 sec of pressing the play button, the music goes off. The player still shows that the music is playing, the BT headset is not producing any sound. I have upgraded the firmware to 1-40 and the problem still persists. Thanks in advance for your help! Nachi

Try pairing your device to another mobile and try listening music with it.If it works, either the settings on you Nokia N73 need to be changed, either is not fully compatible with the phone. As a last resort you can reset to default the settings on your mobile.Upgrading the firmware I do not recommand doing it, even from an official site, cause it can turn be very unstable.

1: SWITCH ON THE BLUETOOTH FUNCTION ON YOUR MOBILE 2: THEN CHANGE MY PHOES VISIBLITY FROM HIDDEN TO SHOWN TO ALL 3; MAKE SURE U HAVE PRESSED THE BLUETOOTH HEADSET SWITCH ON BUTTON FOR AT LEAST 10 SECONDS . 3: U WILL HEAR A BEEP SOUND WHEN THE HEADSET IS SEARCHING FOR PAIRING 4 NOW SEARCH FOR NEW DEVICES ON YOUR MOBILE 5 WHEN THE SEARCH COMPLETES IT WILL SHOW BH-105 6 : SELECT IT AND CLICK PAIR . FINISHED
Be sure the the headset in in 'Pairing' mode. When in pairing mode, the light should be flashing red and blue or have a steady blue.
The put most headsets in pairing mode, turn headset OFF, then hold the power button until it goes into pairing mode as discribed above.
Then you can discover it with your phone or PC. Pin (pass key) should be 0000 (4 Zeros) or try 1111, 1234, 9999
Press and hold down the headset volume key in the centre. Hold it for about 5 sec. The led will now flash on/off in red. This is the pairing mode. Set your mobile phone to blue tooth discovery mode, until it finds the headset, key in the pass key, 0000. It should now work. You may need to set the phone to select the headset as an automatic connection so it connects whenever it is on and in range.
I had the same problem before I even upgraded the firmware, it showed up after I selected "delete all" in the paired devices menu. I upgraded my firmware to try to the problem but it didn't help but I did come up with a fix thats worked twice for me. so heres the fix i use
1. delete the pairing on your mobile phone.
2. switch on the headset then hold the on switch in the pairing position for about 7 sec. which should put it in pairing mode.
3. do a search with your mobile phone for a new device and it should show your headset
4. pair with it like normal
after pairing my headset's display always comes back on and then operates like normal
hope that helps
