Help! My Jabra BT8010 is driving me nuttz. It will not immediately connect, and it constantly reconnects then disconnects over and over. Once I finally am able to get a call on it, it will stay stable for the most part. Why is this bluetooth keep doing this? My cell phone is a LG VX8300. I am ready to throw this thing out the window. Thanks for any help.

I have the EXACT same problem as the original poster.

What had to have caused my problem: I selected [Delete all] from the 'Paired Devices' list. After that the screen went black and I couldn't get it to respond so I shut it off and turned it back on and... well, it was explained above.

I tried to connect to that 'Control Center' thing and it doesn't work. Windows installs the drivers for the piece itself(After I installed the control center), but the control center doesn't see the device.

This is especially irritatin because I've had this earpiece for LESS than 24 hours.

I use BT8010 to listen to MP3, however, the headset has stop streaming audio from my Sony Ericsson K850i or W580i.

    Any suggestion..

Obvious it's a software problem.I strongly recommand downgrading from the OFFICIAL SITE or a trusty one the previous version that you had before or you could try 1.3 1.2 untill you find a working one.

After pairing with my mobile (Nokia N73) I am able the listen to music only for 10 sec

Try pairing your device to another mobile and try listening music with it.If it works, either the settings on you Nokia N73 need to be changed, either is not fully compatible with the phone. As a last resort you can reset to default the settings on your mobile.Upgrading the firmware I do not recommand doing it, even from an official site, cause it can turn be very unstable.

Vibrates continuously

While Looking at the Sideview of the Main part of the headset, press the center button (Menu) it will read [Call List] in parenthesis just like this. Turn the Volume Wheel Clockwise to [Settings], then push Center of Volume Wheel.1st to appear should be [Vibra Alert], press Center of Vol.Wheel and it will probably have parenthesis on [On] Turn Vol. Wheel to [Off] and Press Center of Vol Wheel to Change it . Shouldn't Vibrate any more. If it Does You've got other Problems .

hey there,
i didnt find out the problem but i found out a way to fix it... if ur headset is paired with ur phone, remove it (from the 4ne) the try to pair the two again even thought the jabra is not responding. put the switch into pair mode and hold it there. (make sure bluetooth is on and ur phone is ready for pairing)
ones i paired the headset with my phone again it started working fine and the display started working too.

Trouble after installing firmware

I had the same problem before I even upgraded the firmware, it showed up after I selected "delete all" in the paired devices menu. I upgraded my firmware to try to the problem but it didn't help but I did come up with a fix thats worked twice for me. so heres the fix i use  1. delete the pairing on your mobile phone.  2. switch on the headset then hold the on switch in the pairing position for about 7 sec. which should put it in pairing mode.  3. do a search with your mobile phone for a new device and it should show your headset 4. pair with it like normal
after pairing my headset's display always comes back on and then operates like normal  hope that helps

you need to charge the head-set fully and then.... disconect it from power supply. hold down the call button until a continus light appears. and then flip out the speaker tusk.... then search for the device on your phone a couple of times.... if you dont find your headset then your phone is not compatible with the head-set....
