The standard Sonuy cotroller does not have vibration.
There is a new one on the market (can't recall the name right now also made by sony). Runs about 75 dollars.

My core controller just vibrates

Hi
The problem may be with the game. some PS2 games are partially compatible with PS3.
When the controller vibrates and turns off use the wire to switch it on and keep running.

Hi I can't seem to get the controller to vibrate and my ps3 is saying the vibration is on but I don't feel it working

Try another controller that you know the vibration is working properly. If it works then you know the original controller is faulty. Those wireless controllers have a little motor that vibrates and they can go bad after alot of use, or if they get thrown around, etc.

My controller won't stop vibrating.

This could be one of two issues:

A) Your controller isn't real, was manufactured somewhere in China as a scam to get your money. You bought it off the Internet and got scammed.
B) If it's actually a Sony controller, it could be a hardware defect. It wouldn't just vibrate unless the PS3 Game told it to... If it's still vibrating, try letting the battery die completely, then plug it in. If it's still vibrating, call SCEA (1-800-345-7669).

Can you use Logitech Rally Vibration Feedback Wheel Steering Wheel in PS3?

No, it doesn't unfortunately. The wheel's controller portion works well, but as soon as you start racing, the analog portion of the controller- namely the padals and wheel- do not work. Time for an upgrade.

**Tested on Gran Turismo 5.**

Everytime I turn on my PS3 The controler vibrates

Go to "Accessory Settings", and then "Controller Vibration Function" - click on it, there will be "on/off"
That should prevent it, I don't think there is a specific option for disabling the vibration on startup only

Hi, i have lost the instructions on how to perform the controller link with my ps3. could you give me a step by step walkthrough? thanks (this is for the ps3 infinite play wireless controller)

It should be as easy as plugging in the controller to the PS3 unit by using the usb cord and then pressing the PS3 button on the controller. That's how the original controller works.

Good luck.

Wireless xbox 360 controller keeps disconnecting when i fire or get shot evertime whats the problem

I've had this same problem with a few controllers. It's your battery. Well, more specifically the container of the batteries. Chances are, it's lose.
(I would have to keep holding mine firmly in place, while playing games.) The reason it disconnects when you get shot is cause of the controller vibrations. It makes your battery jump out of place, due to not being held in place firmly.
My suggestion would be to either buy a new battery container, or turn vibrations off.
Hope this helps.

Need wireless controller with vibration mode

they don't have it. the dual shock 2 has it. but thats a ps2 controller. the dual shock 3 is a six axis controller, sony opted for six axis instead of vibration. if your lucky you may be able to find a setup to use a dual shock 2 setup to use with an wireless adapter for the ps3. good luck with that one though.
