I need to do a hard reset, I lost the password?

You ca do Factory reset from the Android System Recovery menu.
To go in the Recovery menu, press and hold the Power On button and some other key (Volume Up, Volume Down, Home ). The combination is different for the different models.
When you are in the Android system recovery menu, use The Volume Up/Down keys for navigation and the Power button for confirmation.
Choose one by one:
- wipe data / factory reset
- Yes -- delete all user data
- reboot system now

How do I perform a factory reset on Nabi Jr. Daughter uncertain her info on it??

A factory reset will wipe all data including installed apps. Make sure the battery is fully charged before beginning this as you could "brick" your Nabi. Here's the video I used with the procedure on it:

Steps are:
  1. turn it off
  2. hold power and vol + button until menu appears
  3. press vol - to highlight "recovery kernel"
  4. press vol + to select it
  5. press vol - and vol + at the same time
  6. menu will appear use vol - to select "wipe data factory reset"
  7. press power button to select it
  8. press vol - to select "yes delete all user data"
  9. press power button to select it
  10. this will perform a few actions and take you back to the menu from step 6 should already be on "reboot system now"
  11. press power button to select "reboot system now"
  12. the Nabi will reboot and reset to factory defaults
