Question about Toshiba TP50F50/51 50" Rear Projection Television

Toshiba TP50F50 rear projection tv power light blinks on&

Im having a problem,i turn on my tv and i get no audio no picture the light next to the power button on the tv blinks on&off what could be the problem can i fix this myself any repleys would be much appercited Can somebody tell me if this is the right kit for thid model Tv Toshiba TP50F50....... (2) STK392-110 convergence ICs (6) 1.8 ohm 1watt metal film resistors for R7711, R7716, R7721, R7726, R7731 and R7736

Did you purchase these because you thought this was part of the problem? if is a convergance problem you should have some picture it would be distorted or color bars would be on the left or right of the screen. if the light is flashing and you have no picture at all or any audio you have a power supply problem. it is not letting the proper voltage energize the main board.

unplug the set for a half hour and start over. As long as you did not save the settings, all should be ok.

No picture and the power light blinks


A red blinking light could mean that the lamp timer is at it's limit and it is time to change the lamp. You will also have to reset the lamp timer by pushing and holding down 2-3 buttons on the tv or remote. Refer to your user guide for the proper way to reset and or change your lamp.

Picture loss after picture begins to flash. blue and yellow light


Most likely the lamp is dying. Try replacing the lamp before calling a repair tech. What does the Owners manual say about the blink lights?

yes, but make sure you get the parts from a reputable seller.. They do have knock offs as well as chips that didnt pass the full test sold cheap which will work temporarly and then fail again.

I have the sames t.v you have to go in the back flip the power cord switch...then reboot the t.v.
