Hello, I think I might be in the wrong place....but maybe u can help me?? I have the MP3 player I referenced in the subject line and I do not have an owners manual. Can you please tell me how to find one???

I've had units that took overnight , and the next day read (almost fully charged. Your not tring to charge it from the laptop battery are you....No I didn't think so. Give it a night and see what happens.
well then there is something wrong along the line, try a different computer to see if its the computer that is making your life difficult or your MP3 player. you have the tank of all MP3 players. so i am thinking that your computer is not reading it but the mp3 player is probably fine. please do e-mail me, my e-mail is on my page. so do not be afraid to ask me about this problem.

I did find this site while looking for an answer though. If you feel
adventurous you can try it. If its already fixed then it's helpful for

If "format error" is flashing, the format of the file system is wrong - it needs to be reinstated as Atrac3 file format. I'm guessing you formatted it using the option on your computer. I've had this problem with my Sony NW-E105, and fixed it. Turn on the player, and press your menu button. Scroll over until the option displays "format", and then select that.
