I have no sound with the ipod or dvd but the fm stero works. I took this out of my old truck and it all worked in there but once i installed it in my new car there is no sound when playing dvd/cd or when...

it sounds like you are going through an external amp. try using the blue/white wire instead of the blue wire. the blue wire is antenna remote turn on. the blue/white is amplifier remote turn on. the blue wire turns off when leaving tuner mode.

How do you do the video bypass for a fosgate lancer navigation?

You need to pull out your stereo. Find the parking brake wire on the back, leave plenty of room and cut it. Now wire it right back to the radios ground wire in the harness. This will tell the radio that you are always in park.

Installed aftermarket stero in GMC Z71, is you hit a bump the stero goes off

double check all your wiring and make sure all connections are tight. if there's an inline fuse holder, make sure it isnt loose. and make sure your grounding point is tight and clean. also check the fuses and wiring under the dash. if everything checks out, you've got yourself a faulty stereo.
