Does the weather is stormy while youre watching? cause sometimes lightning may affect the TV. try this one

Did you try connecting the TV on a different power outlet? just to check if its a prioblem with the outlet... IF still no power this is a problem with the power supply of the TV that may needs replacement..

Watching tv, went to lower volume and POP it went. sounded like a small firecracker went off.! tv went dead ! no power ,NO NOTHING ?? vcr & dvd player was hooked up to it there all ok,so is cable...
You have blown parts, either the caps or the main switching power supply MOSFET.

Watching tv then it went off. changed fuse, still nothing no indicator light
Sounds like the power supply for the TV or some other internal power coupler has seized. How old is the TV? What kind of TV? Do you get any response at all? Probably either needs repair or just needs to be replaced at this point.
