Hi,
The orifice or the expansion valve are for a three ton unit and you only have a 2ton...so too much gas is going through causing low discharge and high suction... install correct orifice or TXV and you'll be okay...

I have 1.5 ton split air-conditioner, so tell me that what size of copper tube will be installed in liquid line and suction line?

You should be able to measure the evap coil tube size or at condenser tube size where the tubing connect. But, standard size should be a 5/8 suction and 3/8 liquid line.
tip

Oasis co4778r if compressor will not start

If the compressor on this case does not start install a set of gauges on unit and make sure pressures for 404a are correct for your ambient temp. at 70F you should have around 155psi on suction and discharge. if pressures are good and no power from relay on emerson board then remove bottom shelves from unit exposing evap fan/txv/coil. you will find a high pressure switch and a low pressure switch. cut wiring to both switchs and ohm them out to make sure they are closed. if one or more is open and your pressures are okay replace the switch. There are dilcores on switches so it can be done with out reclaiming if you are quick. if high pressure switch is faulty and does not open during hot pull downs the unit may trip on internal relief in compressor. 404a will run very high temp and pressure and may shut down up to 5/6 times on hps before unit suction and discharge come down. make sure condenser coil is very clean. wash with hot water and degresser if needed.
General maintence should be carried out on these units often such as cleaning the condenser. cleaning condenser pan and float check proper operation **** all dirt from pan and float with shop vac and wipe up all sluge from heater elements. remove bottom shelves to the evap area and vacuum any loose particals from inside and make sure drain is clear.
if you have product in case that is not keeping cool you may have to remove all shelves and remove back wall and vacuum dust from grates in back to get good air flow.

What evap coil can be efficiently used with a 10 seer rheem raka-024jaz condenser

Hello, if the outside condenser is 2 ton than the inside evap coil should be 2 ton aswell. There are 12,000 btu's per ton and the number 024 in the model # represents btu's per ton so you have a 2 ton unit.

I am removing a 3 ton condenser and replacing with a 31/2 ton condenser . The evap coil is a 3 ton with an expansion valve with a 11/2 ton to a 3 ton rating. Will i have any problems. The 31/2 ton unit is...

Yes you will have problems you can go up a 1/2 half ton on the coil but not with the condenser don't do it you will regret it even with an expansion valve.

1.5 ton straight cool condenser....head pressure good at 250 psig....suction pressure will not go higher than 55 psig....target superheat indicates target suction pressure at 68 psig....o/d coil clean,...

Hello take a evap coil split (return temp vs supply temp) 18*F would be great. If it is lousy the TXV valve is restricting the flow of freon or the filter drier is clogging.Adding freon will overcharge the system and the suction will NOT improve.

Coleman 3 ton ac unit should condenser fan push or pull air

condenser fans typically 'pull' air (from around the unit) across the 'hot condenser coil' - and discharges it away from the unit.

System not cooling space it cooled once before?

Hi, could be compressor loosing efficiency, i think suction pressure is to high at 85, also it could be moisture in your system, did mechanic replaces filter drier on high side of system , when he replaces evap. install filter drier on liquid line, if there isn't one, also check compressor valve, you can do that by cutting or desoldering the high side from compressor, connect charging port to compressor, conect your gauge charging port, start compressor, pump up to between 150- 200 psi shut off gauge, and leave for about 1 hr. then check pressure, if pressure decreases, then your compressor valve are leaking, if it maintain same pressure, then compressor valve is o/k. you can do same on suction side, this time in vacuum, if it holds vacuum pressure, then valve is o. k, RLA(LRA) lock rotor amps, is amount of amps compressor used to start, but will drop once compressor is running, 11.6 when operating is o/k, does your evap. compatible with condensing unit?, is it right size. check also that you're using right type of freon, check condensing unit & evap labels for right type of freon, make sure they can handle same type of freon. but check compressor valve carefully, i think your comperssor could be loosing it efficiency, compressor could be your problem. good luck.good luck

Have goodman unit, ac unit running 55 suction, 210 high side. cleaned condenser coils and charge to 10 degrees supercool. suction at 65, discharge 245, why did my discharge go so high

You should have liquid line filter/dryer that maybe restricted or there is a restriction in the orfice inside the evap coil normal operating pressures are 68/ 180
