Noise drum dryer when walk

DRYER MAKES NOISES.

A loose or worn BELT can make funny noises
Or the idler pulley that puts tension on the dryer drum drive belt could be worn out. If the pulley is bad we recommend also replacing the belt.

The glides on drum worn and making metal to metal contact.
The drum slides or glides support the front of the drum. As the drum rotates over the years, the glides wear out and then the dryer makes noise. Replace all of the glides as a set if they are worn out.

CHECK FOR LOOSE BELLOES inside the drum

Sometimes an item can get stuck inbetween the drum and the housing and scrape and grind making funny noises, things like coins, bra wire, nails, hair pins, etc sometimes u can just remove the cabinet and observe by turning the drum by hand or looking for scratch or scrape marks on housing.

The blower:

Clumps of lint, socks, and other small articles of clothing can get past the lint filter and into the blower wheel. If the dryer makes noise, and the noise seems to be at a very fast pace, there might be something caught in the blower wheel. In addition, the blower wheel sleeve might be worn out, allowing the blower wheel to wobble on the motor shaft. If this happens, replace the blower wheel.

The bearings:
The drum bearing supports the rear of the dryer drum. If the dryer makes noise this bearing might be worn out. Replace the bearing if it is worn out. Do not lubricate the bearing, the lubrication will attract lint and dirt and accelerate the wearing process.
The bearings TEST by moving drum by hand u may be able to feel loose or rough movement. And listen to sounds when turning it.

The drum rollers or castors:

It is very common for dryer drum rollers to wear out. If the dryer makes noise, particularly a loud rumbling noise, one or more of the rollers may be worn out. After removing the drum from the dryer, inspect the rollers.
Check for cracks, dryness, or damage and not engaging drum properly. Sometimes u can use high density LITHIUM BASE gear grease to re oil/grease them.
GOD IS GOOD !!!!

Whirlpool Cabrio Dryer MOD WED5600XW0 making whirring noise

take the bottom panel off, you'll see a metal duct that the lint filter slides down into, there's a blower wheel behind the duct,if the wheel cracks or gets loose where it connects to the motor shaft it can make this sound, start the dryer and listen to see if the noise comes from there.if you can't tell unplug the dryer, pull out the lint filter and then take out the screws that hold the metal duct in place and remove it,now you can see the blower wheel, spin the drum by hand and see if the blower wheel moves with the drum and belt.if it looks fine stop spinning it and grab the wheel and see if it feels loose,if it is you will be able to tell.also while you have the duct off clean it out,you should take it off at least once a year and clean it out, then vac out the cabinet and blow out your vent line with a leaf blower if it's long, just remove it from the back of the dryer, stick a leaf blower into the vent line and blow it out.go outside first and make sure the outside duct is clear,no cage or anything that will block the lint from blowing outside.if the blower wheel is ok then the noise could be the belt roller or belt pulley, thety sell a kit with all the parts together but usually when someone says it's making a whirring sound it most likely is the blower wheel.hope this helps.

My dryer runs and heats but seems like no air is being blown. It should have some sort of a blower correct? Taking 2 cycles to get dry and vent is not clogged, but not sure about lint trap slot.

First, of course, make sure ALL the airways are clear, including the area around the lint filter, and the outside vent - lint likes to stick to the outside vent flap, so make sure you clean that off too, and that it opens and closes freely.

Here's how to get the dryer apart

There is a blower wheel, but it's powered by the same motor and belt which turns the drum. So if your drum is turning, the blower wheel should be turning, too. If not, you may have to replace the blower wheel. Here a link showing how to do so:

I should like to have a Dutch or English user manual

Obstructed Vent
Your Kenmore dryer must be able to freely circulate air in the dryer in order for it to continuously supply hot air. If air flow is limited from a buildup of lint in the vent and lint tray, the high limit switch temporarily shuts off heat to the dryer. Empty the lint tray on the top of your dryer. Detach the exhaust vent -- the silver tube in the back of your dryer -- and thoroughly clean it out with a lint brush and reattach. Consult your Kenmore dryer manual for instructions on how to inspect and clean your vent hose. Once these components have been freed of lint, the dryer should dry clothes again.
Broken Blower Wheel or Belt
If you have completed a full inspection of your dryer vent system and found no obstructions, your dryer might have a defective blower wheel or belt. A failure of one or both of these components can restrict air flow in your dryer and take your dryer longer to dry clothes. According to Point and Click Appliance Repair, a noise coming from the dryer as the drum spins is usually an indication that the blower wheel is failing and needs to be replaced. Review your Kenmore dryer manual for instructions on how to locate these components on your dryer.
Faulty Thermostat
A broken thermostat can cause your dryer to produce too high or too low heat. Monitor the dryer exhaust temperature with a hand-held thermometer. The temperature should be below 150 degrees Fahrenheit. If the temperature reading is higher, then replace the thermostat. It's no longer able to regulate the temperature inside the dryer, and your dryer is in danger of overheating. If the temperature reading is room temperature and the dryer is running, the thermostat is broken and needs to be replaced.
Damaged Gas Valve Coils
Damaged gas valve coils permit your Kenmore gas dryer to ignite only once before coils must completely cool in order to reignite. This is a common issue among older dryers. If your dryer struggles to turn on or after it shuts off you must wait several minutes before it restarts, then the gas valve coil likely has worn. Confirm the location of the igniter from the manual. It's a cone-shaped tube that is located inside the dryer near the front panel close to the bottom. If the igniter radiates bright orange for 15 seconds without producing a flame, then the gas valve coils have probably failed.

Dryer heats, drum turns, hot air circulates, but clothes don't dry

Sometimes blower wheels will get loose in dryers. Sometimes they will get a whole lump of lint in them or you can hear a rattling noise in the dryer, this is the blower wheel, its worn out and it can cause the fuse to blow too,or it can half *** work and take fifty forever's to dry the clothes.Or it could be just that the dryer needs a good blowing out .I use a lawn blower to get all the lint out of the dryer as well as the vent pipe and vent to outside. I take the filter HOUSING out and wash it also. That is, I remove the housing and clean is good! Making sure that the dryer is properly flowing air is a good thing!

Ler7646eq2 shaking and blower noise

To remove the blower wheel you will need to get it from the front of dryer. You will need to first remove the screws where your lint screen is.Then you will need to lift the top up and remove the front panel. There are 2 1/4 inch screw on the inside part of the front panel on the left and right corner area. After that you will need to take the belt off and remove the drum. After the drum is removed you will need to use a cresent wrench and a pair of vice grips to remove the blower wheel. first take off the motor clip around the blower wheel area then Put the cresent wrech on the plastic blower wheel it is square.wendge the cresant wrench against the drum roller shaft then clamp on your vice on the opposit side of the motor shaft then give it a good turn so that the cresant wrench is pushing aganst the drum rollor shaft that should remove the blower wheel and just reverse after done.Hope i helped
