This problem is caused by the overheating sensor cutting in too early. Some bulbs seem to run hotter than others and the overhear sensor seems to gradually cut out at a lower temperature over time. The solution is simple. Open up the projector and you will find the sensor/cutoff bolted to the back of the lamp compartment (not visible from the lamp compartment), you need to take the top off to see it. The component is an Airpax 67L100. You can order a replacement from Digikey.com -- or other component vendors for between $5 and $9. Simply replace the current sensor with a new one (solder it in) and for just a few dollars you will be back in the game. If you want to give yourself a little more margin of heat replace the component with an airpax 67L110 (cut off at 110 degrees instead of 100 degrees). The extra 10 degrees will give you more ability to handle hotter bulbs.

If you want to verify that this really IS the problem before spending the $8 try unbolting the sensor and letting it remain loose. Since it is not bolted down it will not heat up as much and will likely solve the problem. Don't leave it that way though. Once you have satisfied yourself that sensor really is the problem order a replacement, solder it in, and bolt it back down so that it can do its job.

I hope that helps.

On reviewing my earlier response I realized that I neglected to mention a couple of things so in the interest of completeness:

    1. I was assuming that you had up-to-date firmware in your projector. If you don't and you have replaced your lamp module you might be suffering from a problem that the latest firmware fixes. You can download a firmware update fromhttp://www.infocus.com/Support/Products/... (the LP530 is the same unit as the TDP-T3). Don't worry you can use the infocus firmware upgrade on your toshiba dtp-t3. The unit will announce itself as an infocus projector rather than a toshiba upon power up but otherwise you will notice no difference except for the changes introduced by the firmware upgrade.

    2. Another thing that I should have mentioned is that you should clean out the air filter screens on the lamp module. If these get blocked up with dusk and dirt it will prevent proper cooling of the lamp.

If you have done these two things AND my original suggestion and you still have the problem it is almost certainly a defective lamp module. (Quite rare).

Check the color wheel if it is not turning when you hit the power button (light should flash) you have 1 or 2 loose caps on the bottom of the main board behind the audio input try to resolder them with low heat iron these are smt caps and very hard work on if you have not worked on this kind of job take it to a expert
good luck! ps make sure you glue them down
if you do get them to work to prevent a reocurance.
OR you have a power supply issue which
should be a swolen 3300 mf 10 volt cap
in the main power supply.

In few minutes after turn on the projector (Eiki Lc-xnb4m) , it shut off automaticlly. and i connect notebook with the projector ,no any reaction. i don't know how to operate it?

are any of the leds flashing? could be overheating. blow out the dust with canned air. if the lamp is old, it could be that it needs to be replaced. if the fans go out immediately as well, it could be the power supply.

Sounds like maybe a power surge killed the TV. If it is newer, try contacting the Manufacturer for warranty repairs.

still looking for a schematic, i'm a tech for 44 years myself, but on unfamiliar territory don't travel without the road map. The bulb probably isn't getting high voltage, but i'm unfamiliar with the circuitry. y'all showed having the schematic. but i couldn't operate your forum page
