Connect casio LK94Tv keyboard to a PC via midi

Your keyboard only has a USB port.
You need to buy a std USB printer cable (A-B).
Download the drivers from Casio.com
Instal the driver first and connect the cable when asked to.
Once connected, the PC will have software MIDI-IN and MIDI-out for your LK94TV

Akai apc 40 is squeaking when turning on. the squeak changes in order how many LED are on. is not the power suppyl. it comes direct from the power plug in just next to the usb port...

You may have a zener diode failing, or just plain noisy on the power input board. If you are not using the original power supply, this may be why- the voltage may be a little higher than the design planned for.

If you open up the unit you may hear the noisy component with a drumstick held to one ear with the other end touching ecah component in turn until you find the most noisy component- then replace it.

Apc 40 squeak

It could be feedback, it could be inductive noise. Try different cables because a shield wire may be brokin in the set you are using currently.

Hello guys, i have a problem with my midi keyboard. My PC doesn't recognize the USB connection and i can't find any solution.

Well first start by verifying USB port works by plugging in a hard drive or something thus proving you have a good port and USB Cable. At which point hook the keyboard up ( and make sure to properly install drivers provided on cd with purchase) being a pc this may take several attempts to install. What software are you trying to control? Reason? Logic? Fruityloops?

My USB port enter part came apart from the mother board.

If it is the connector, resolder the connector to the board, carefully...

If the connector is damaged, you can get new ones from several sources, including Digikey.com and Mouser.com.

Also consider finding a connector to salvage from PC recycling outfits.

Need to replace usb port,

Try a local computer shop that does repairs. You will have to unsolder the old port and take it with you to get a match. Also a good electronics parts dealer should have one or be able to order one for you.

My hard drive and midi controller wont work with usb

When you connect a hard drive and any other USB device to a 4 port hub you have to use the external power supply all the time. You may have fried the power pins on the USB port you used to connect the 4 port hub. If you can get the hard drive to work separately on the USB port, the 4 port hub may no longer be passing power from the laptop.

Problem with the USB TASCAM 2488MKII

Do you have alot of drives connected to your PC?
You might need to go into disk manager and assign the TASCAM a dedicated drive letter.

And it could also be your USB port that you are going into, or the cable.
