Question about LG enV VX9900 Cellular Phone
Hi my first gen Envy fell out of my holder as I ran to my car during a big rain storm. I found it was missing a few minutes later and went back. I found it open and in a 1/2 inch deep puddle. The screen showed the normal background pic and seemed to be ok. However not must later all it shows is the 'Verizon Wireless' logo on a black screen over and over (flashes).
I was able to get the memory card out and it works still. But is the phone shot to get the other stuff off such as contacts?
First thing you should have done is remove the battery immediately. The battery with water will fry the phone. The phone needs to dry out. I have heard several people have good luck by putting the phone in a bag of rice for 3 days. Rice will remove the moisture. Give it a try and good luck!
