Question about HP Pavilion ze4547wm Notebook
If the screen is very, very dim, it is the flourecent light, that is installed on the top of the screen - and may not be replaceable, without replacing the entire monitor - a computer tech can open it up (I don't recommend people that haven't been trained, as you can damage/distroy the LCD screen, and/or a paper-thin cable, rendering the computer unusable)
A workaround is to use an external monitor.
