Code to control my Viewsat9000HD on Bose remote not working at all

The pre installed code in my Bose RCV1T-27 remote control, which came prepackaged in my Bose Lifestyle V30 speaker system, to control my Viewsat9000HD does not work at all.  What's worse, I apparently am not allowed to enter codes manually.  Anybody got a solution?  Anybody?  Please?

That's the thing, there's only one code preinstalled and it doesn't work and I'm not allowed to put in manual codes.

Bose remote control RCV1T-27 not working

If your Bose remote control (model RCV1T-27) is not working, even after replacing the batteries, there could be several potential causes for this issue. Some possible reasons for the remote not working include:
  • A problem with the batteries: If the batteries are not making good contact with the battery terminals inside the remote, the remote may not work properly. You can try cleaning the battery terminals with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be preventing the batteries from making good contact.
  • A problem with the remote control buttons: If the buttons on the remote control are not functioning properly, the remote will not work. You can try cleaning the buttons with a soft, dry cloth to remove any dirt or debris that may be preventing them from working properly. If this does not fix the problem, the buttons may need to be replaced.
  • A problem with the infrared (IR) transmitter: The IR transmitter is the part of the remote that sends the signals to the Bose system. If the IR transmitter is not functioning properly, the remote will not work. You can try testing the IR transmitter by pointing the remote at a digital camera or smartphone and pressing a button on the remote. If you see a flash of light on the camera or smartphone screen, the IR transmitter is working properly. If not, the IR transmitter may need to be replaced.
To diagnose the specific cause of the problem with your Bose remote control, you may need to perform some basic troubleshooting steps and tests. If you are not familiar with electronics repair, it is best to seek the assistance of a qualified professional.

If it's still not working, contact Bose, sometimes they will ship a replacement at no charge, if not, ship it and $20.00 to me and I will repair it or get you a replacement, if for some unseen reason it is un repairable or I am unable to get a replacement, you will get a full refund, see my feedbacks on Letgo in Fairfield California under Supertech99, 100% 5 Star feedback and reviews, I am the real deal.

Bose remote control not working

Check the remote control for its infrared emission. If it is not found OK, clean the remote control. Open it and clean the PCB inside it. Check the batteries too. Check it with fresh batteries.

Bose remote control model rcv1t-27 stopped working

My RCV1T-17 quit working. Replaced batteries, but still not working. In the battery compartment there are programming switches (dip switches). I moved each one and put the dip switch back in the original position. Once I did that the RCV1T-17 has been working with no issues. Note: After 10 years of non movement those dip switch contacts apparently were not making a good contact. By switching those dip switches the original code was again functional.

My Bose V30 system with the RCV1T-27 remote wont send the IR signal to my Motorola DCT 6416 if im not standing right in front of the Bose display unit. The light on the display still blinks as if its...

Hello
Check the cells in the battery compartment of your remote control handset. Replace it with new ones and check. Still you poise this problem, the intensity of infrared rays come from your remote control, or the sensitivity of the infrared sensor inside your bose front panel system may have the trouble. Just replace the infrared LED of your remote control with an other one of same type. If it does not helps you, repalcing the infrared sensor will reftify your problem. OK.

My Model RCV1T-27 remote will go through a set of AAA batteries in 2 weeks. We only use the remote in the evening and then only to turn on the system and set the volume. All the channel changine is done...

If I am lucky, I get 3 days with a brand new set of batteries. Actually, I rarely ever use my system for that very reason. the irony is i chose this model based on the radio frequency feature. . .what a fiasco.

Home Audio Bose 48 - Remote not working

Had an issue with the Bose Remote RC38t1-27 not working at all. Changes batteries twice to no avail. Called Bose Tech support who walked me through the fix. I unplugged the power cord connected in the back of the system. Waited for 30 seconds or so and plugged it back into the system. Also made sure the power cord was uncoiled/unbundled as the RF (Radio Frequency) signal is within. Bingo!
