-   I took a picture with a low bnattery warning but as soon as I clicked the picture the battery went dead, and now as soon as I turn on the camera I get this err sign and the number 99 in the box telling me how many pics I got left. I tried to access the menu but I can not get off the err screen. There has never been any damage to the camera... HELP!!!

-   I have the same problem with my brand new Canon EOS Rebel xs. Only a month old, never used outside, nor has it been dropped or handled rough in any way, but this error 99 comes up constantly while trying to shoot my daughter's basket ball games. I think I'll try to return the camera. Shame, nice camera otherwise.

where in Halifax or Dartmouth Nova Scotia can I find a battery for the JAZZ DV179 DIGITAL CAMCORDER/CAMERA
I have the same problem with Canon30D & also with Canon S5IS. I'm a total amateur having no idea however, since it happened on both cameras at the same time I wonder.... Started to have those problems after photographing outdoors in below zero temperatures. Re charged the batteries but problem persists in both... Very frustrating... Last time I sent camera for repair (out of town) waited 4 months to get it back, not good for Canon's name. Was told that that is the norm???? I photograph for small business & need the camera working! Any help out there? Emily T.
