Question about Computers & Internet
PLEASE HELP ME TO SOLVE HOW TO SET JUMPER OF P4V845 SERIES MOTHERBOARD.
HERE MY HARDWARE DESCRIPTION;
CPU-INTEL PENTIUM 4 1.70GHz(100X17.0), DDR PC2100 128MB, V3800M/PURE 32MB VIDEO CARD AGP, HDD-IDE MAXTOR 40GB, 52X TEAC CDROM DRIVE, INTERNAL MODEM 56KBPS CONEXANT.
CMOS CHECKSUM ERROR - DEFAULTS LOADED
WARNING! CPU HAS BEEN CHANGED. OR CPU RATIO CHANGED FAIL,
PLEASE RE-ENTER CPU SETTINGS IN THE CMOS SETUP AND REMEMBER TO SAVE BEFORE QUIT!
Normally Checksum errors mean that the Battery on the board may not be holding a charge any longer. Best suggestion that I can give is to replace that battery. You can buy it in any electronics store. Just make sure to buy one with the EXACT same size. If that still does not work you may ahve to update your BIOS you can message me about that.
