On itunes, it tells me my other is almost full on iphone?

First, merry Christmas! if you hope to transfer files from your iphone to computer, iTunes cannot do it,

you can use some app to do that, as for me. I used iStonsoft iPhone to computer transfer for one year, worth recommend.

but what system are you using ? PC or Mac ? if you 're PC user, here is the method: how to transfer music/photos from iPhone to coputer.

if you 're Mac user, sorry, I also am not familiar wtih Mac os.

You have to use Itunes to transfer between Iphone and Laptop. Connect your Iphone and sync using Itunes. You can transfer photos,pictures,music etc ...

First you need to authorize your PC with your iTunes account with iTunes if you haven't already done so. With your iPhone connected to iTunes and without syncing, at the iTunes menu bar go to File and select Transfer Purchases From - the name of your iPhone.<br>

Besides what mentioned above, I like to share you a article about transferring files from iPhone to computer, which included transferring iPhone photos and videos to computer/iTunes.<br>

Connect your iPhone to iTunes and do the following:
1.On the summary tab of your iTunes sync settings check "Sync only checked songs and videos"
2.In your music library check all the songs you want to sync to your iPhone
3.Make sure there are no exclamation points next to any of the songs you want to sync to your iPhone
4.Make sure you have authorized your computer for all Apple IDs for purchased music you want to sync to your iPhone (in Store>Authorize This Computer)
5.Check "Sync Music" on the Music tab of your iTunes sync settings
6.Sync your iPhone

You've got a new computer. All your music and videos are on your iPod and you'd like to populate you new iTunes library from it. Unfortunately iTunes doesn't let you transfer anything other than your iTunes store purchases from your iPod.

To transfer all your iPod content, all your music, playlists, videos, podcasts and photos to your new iTunes library you will need to download software like TouchCopy.

Here is how to use TouchCopy

1. Download and Install TouchCopy from http://www.touchcopy.com. Downloads are free and are available for both PC and Mac.
2. Start up TouchCopy by double-clicking the TouchCopy icon on your desktop.
3. Connect your iPod or iPhone to your computer. TouchCopy may start iTunes - don't worry, TouchCopy has fixed it so that iTunes will not sync music or video with your iPod while TouchCopy is running. These changes are restored when you quit TouchCopy.
4. Select which songs you want to copy into iTunes, if you want to select all your music, select "Music" from the list on the left and click on "Copy to iTunes" button in the TouchCopy control bar.

In a similar way, you can also use TouchCopy to copy your playlists, videos, podcasts, photos, contacts, calendars, notes and iPhone SMS.

When you are satisfied that all your iPod content is safely in iTunes, use iTunes to re-sync your iPod which will enable you to add new content to it.

I know a software Syncios is much more better than iTunes, which not only supports transferring music between PC and iPhone/iPad/iPod Touch, but also transferring other data, like photos, videos, movies, contacts, messages, podcasts, ebooks, apps, notes and bookmarks.

if u r using apple iphone
then folow the steps
install itunes in ur PC and connect the iphone
then select the mode in the iphone
open the itunes application ur iphone will show in that application it means u have successfully connected
drag and drop the songs from my computer to i tunes application it will transfer
Maybe what mentioned above is not useful for you, i personally share you with a article about transferring photos from Computer to iPhone

You need to install itunes on your laptop so your iphone can sync with itunes and your computer.. this is used to tranfer music to your iphone, transfer photo's and video etc and also to check for new firmware versions/back up your phone.

You can however take photo's from your iphone without itunes if you connect your phone via usb and choose open folder to view files when the dialog pops up after you plug it in.. this has very limited use however you really need to install itunes. Itunes is a free download
