The problem is whoever instaled it did not hook up a constant power to the orange wire (i belive) for the radio memory it needs to have a constant power wire for this and they must have hooked it up to a key on (only) power source please rate -jeff

I Have A Pioneer DEH-P6100R and i would like to know how to tune the radio as i havent got a manual... everytime i try and tune the radio theres like a fuzzy sound being made... could you tell me how to go...

Now if you mean tune as in the EQ well they all work about the same way and pioneers EQ's are the best. As for the nosie from experence it's either going to be the outlet in the deck or your speakers. Use the Audio button then go through the list and make adjustments to ur liking. I always like to recomend when you get to the low- mid - and high setting I always put low to the most negitive setting because it takes all the extra unwanted bass out of the component speakers and keeps it in your subs. Good luck and take care

I have to re-tune every time I start the car, dont have manual to preset radio stations ? Should it not stay on automaticly

You have not wired the radio properly. Your constant power (yellow wire) needs to be fed from a voltage source that measures 12VDC no matter the position of the key for clock and memory purposes.

To set the stations simply press and hold the preset until it beeps.

XM radio tunes to random station when turned on

There is an internal battery to hold the station and presets. It is probably no good. Either that or there is something very wrong with the unit.

Here is what I recommend. Call XM. Tell them your receiver is not longer functioning correctly and that you are thinking about canceling your service because you don't have a receiver. They will then offer you a receiver because they don't make much money on them, the make their money on the service.

that's how you get a new free satilite radio.
