Frgidaire Frontload Dryer E9E Error

Dear ngfam1,
You are absolutely no help at all. What dryers do you know of that are ten years or older that have fault reporting capabilities? These people aren't asking you how to set up a repair, they want to know what E9E means. You obviously don't know diddly about repairs and are more concerned with people giving you a good review rather than solving their problem or giving them an answer. I wouldn't consider myself a mechanic if I knew where a good garage was and could tell people to take their cars there when they asked me if I knew what was wrong with it. Get a life and stop pretending to be some kind of repair authority.

Good reply. Like your initial solution response, it helps no one at all and has absolutely nothing to do with the original question. You are the likely the worst example of someone giving advice on appliance repair. Perhaps the facts lie in the original questions asked. Like when someone says they have put 6 loads of laundry through a new washer and it is giving them an error code, they want to know what that means. If you don't know, don't give a bogus solution such as "if it's ten years old or older, don't spen any money on it". Wow, what a great idea....if it wasn't for the fact that it is NEW!!!!! Or, you could do a little research and try to actually be helpful by finding the model number they gave you and see that it's a new model and therefore your cheesy service advice doesn't apply and they are looking for an error code definition. Maybe that would tell you why they don't want to spen more money on a NEW machine they just purchased and are looking to see if they can solve the problem. Hats off to you pal for your technical prowess and endless supply of fabulous solutions.

I have the identical problem E9E problem with the Kenmore Dryer Model 417.84092500 which I bought just 2 years ago. It appears that it is identical to the Frigidaire model GLEQ2152ES electric Dryer. I figured out myself how to run the encrypted Functional Test of the control panel and everytest works except that the the relay that completes the heater ON circuit does not pick up. I paid SEARS $130+ for a replacement circuit assy and got the same results. Sears only says they will send a tech out (of course at sears service call prices) and won't tell me what the error code means. The E9E is not shown in the Tech Data Sheet that came taped inside the chasis of the dryer. I suspect that the problem may be related to one of the other electrical circuits or cables connected to the circuit assy are feeding false information. If I bypass (not recommended for everyone) the relay the heating element works. However, you cannot leave this setup connected as the Heating element will have power on as soon as the dryer is plugged into the wall outlet.

Anyone that buys an expensive high end appliance expects it to work and be a reliable investment. Why SHOULD they have to pay for service when the advice of many TRUE experts on this site is available for FREE. I wouldn't be calling any of these people pathetic. I agree with Hannon612, you shouldn't be registered as an "expert" and should not be giving advice. Its MISLEADING. This is a do-it-yoursefl help website. We're supposed to build the consumer's confidence, not put fear into them and call them pathetic for purchasing something that they are having problems with. You seem to lack compassion and understanding of what it mean to actually HELP someone.

Error code E9 on model #FASE7073NA

Hello Eric, this is Z I am happy to assist you!

I see that you are having trouble with your Frigidaire dryer (FASE7073NA) and that you are receiving an error code E9. However, is it possible that the code is missing characters? I show that E9 is an invalid error code. Could it possibly be showing E9B or E9E? Also, think about what may have happened prior to this occurrence. For instance, did you notice any strange functions or any other error codes prior to this issue? With this information I can better address the issue at hand.

In the meantime, you may try resetting your dryer by disconnecting the power from it for up to ten minutes. You can do this by flipping the circuit breaker off and back. This often clears most false error codes. Hope this helps!

Frigidaire dryer error code e9e

Hello zabbster - Typically E9E means that there is an issue with the control board receiving low or intermittent voltage and you would need to contact a professional to verify the house wiring and confirm the power supply.

Dryer front load model # GLG22152ESO, Flashes Error Code E9E

Ok, i would also pull the blower assembly and, check it for clog's as well. clean out the entire exhaust hose as well. if this doesn't stop the shut down, you will need to replace the hi limit thermostat and (dryness)sensor(if equipped) as well.

KENMORE MOD. 417.84092....RUNS FOR A MINUTE ORTWO OR FIVE / STOPS. HEATS UP OK BUT WON'T RUN FOR MORE THAN A FEW MINUTES. ERROR CODE E9E.

The error code E9E indicates that low voltage is being detected at the control board of the dryer.

This could be caused by the following factors:

* The electrical power supply to the dryer is bad. Check the dryer outlet for proper voltage (120 volts AC).

* Unplug the dryer and check the wiring of the dryer outlet plug. A loose wire on the terminal block could cause this problem.

* If you are able to safely access the control board in the console, check the red wire that connects to the heater relay on the board.

(NOTE: The dryer should always be unplugged when accessing internal components.)
A loose wire or burned connection in this area could result in this error code.

* A failed control board could cause this problem.

If this dryer is 10 years old or more do not spend any money on it!
The new ones are much more efficient! If you have to replace it buy a Speed Queen , it will do 8 loads a week for 25 years!
It's the last washer and dryer I will ever buy!!!! And less expensive than a top of the line unit!

Good luck!
