The part you need is similar to the one in this link, and is mounted on a heatsink.
The IC is available from this website. The part you need might have a different number, make sure when you order it, provide the correct part number.
Good Luck.

What is the frame output ic

Hello
Frame output IC means nothing, but the VERTICAL OUTPUT IC. Every TV will have it, which will scan picture vertically at 50 or 60 Hz. [1 HZ means one frame per second. Normally TVs will have 50Hz, 60Hz and 100Hz vertical frequency]. As vertical frequency rat increases, the picture fliker wil decrease. High level high-cost TVs will have 100Hz or even more frequency will be used for vetical scanning.
In the case of computer monitors, the vertical frequency will vary from 60Hz to 120hz. You can see its picture stability, at this high frequency.
The IC [Integrated Circuit Chip], which generates the vertical frequency and outputs it called the vertical output [frame output] IC. OK

Wish you a Proseperous and Happy 2012.

JVC AV-27820 turn on the a white line accross middle

Hello
Total failure of vertical sweep occured whic your JVC TV. There are mainly two resons for this fault.Loose soldering terminals of the vertical output IC is the first one. The second one is of failure of the vertical output IC itself. You have to locate this vertical IC. It can be located at the main board. Vertical IC will be screwed on to a metal heatsink to radiate heat from it while it works. You can identify it very easly, if you have knoledge in electronic circuts abd printed circuit boards.
Resolder all the solder terminals of this IC first, by applying a little more solder; without making any solder bridge short in between the close adjecent solder terminals, and see whether it helps you. If not replace it with same type and number. OK.

When i turn it on the screen has lines in it and it shuts off

That symptom is called vertical problem. The problem is located at the vertical section of your television.Maybe there's a leak capacitor around the vertical ic,or loose connection of vertical ic.or no B+ supply in vertical ic,and finaly the vertical output ic is deffective maybe it is shorted that why the power shutoff. So its the cause of the problem and need to repiar by the repair technician.Thanks...

Screen becomes small in breadth

I am assuming that "breadth" means the vertical height. It is a common problem, associated with 2 components. Either the Vertical Output IC and/or the vertical yoke coupling capacitor. Either of these can cause a similar problem. If you are handy and have the proper equipment, you can do it yourself. Locate a schematic, locate the Vertical output IC, order the replacement IC from a parts distributor like MCM Electronics or equivalent and replace it. If you are not handy, this should be under $100.00 for a professional repair at any TV repair shop.

The image is compressed into a thin vertical line about 2-3 inches thick. The very top of this line is more brighter than the rest. I've read the problem could be the vertical output IC. I've downloaded...

Sounds like the vertical IC has gone out. Possible with some capacitors. Usually, when you take the back off, Its located on the right side towards the front. It usually has about 10 legs. I can't remember off the top of my head.

Please help

This is a problem with the vertical circuit and is usually a defective vertical IC. If you can solder, locate the vertical IC (small flat IC attached to a heat sink with about 9-11 pins). Try resoldering the pins on the IC. If that fails to resolve the problem, replace the IC. This IC will be marked LA7837 or something similar. Keep us posted. Dan

Emerson EWF2702 TV Problem

Hello yyimerr1,

This is a vertical deflection problem, These are the possible causes:

1) bad vertical coupling capacitor
2) bad vertical output IC
3) bad vertical driver IC
4) bad CRT deflection yoke

Troubleshooting needed:
1) using the TVs schematic locate the driver IC the output IC and the CRT yoke transformer.
2) using an oscilloscope look at the vertical driver signal it should be a sawtooth signal from the driver to the yoke (increasing in amplitude for each section, i. e. driver and output).
3) if no sawtooth patter is seen that is your problem, look for the component in the section where signal is entering but nothing is coming out.
4) replace the components

Now let me tell you something, don't continue to play the TV with the line present with brightness applied, this will burn the image of the line into the phosphorous coating of the CRT.

I hope this helps

Thank you,

Shuttle83

Philips TV showing horizontal lines model 27pt6441/37

You likely have an elevtrlytic capacitor bad on the B+ line to the vertical ouput ic. If you continue to use the set like this it is likely the vertical ouput ic will fail.
