Question about Jackson 25 in. TempStar HH Free-standing Dishwasher

1 Answer

Jackson tempstar I already had the manual you indicated. What I need is pictures, diagrams, measurements, etc of the detail area where the tank drain is located-where the overflow weldment slides in. That is what I am stuck on. If you have a way to help with that I would be so unbelievably relieved. Thanks for your time. Tom

jackson tempstar - ef24c2b.jpgWell, why didn't you say so... Please see attached pic. This is the latest version. The HH design differs only slightly from this. (from this pic, you can't see the difference) Let me know if you require further pics. The machine sits next to me most days...

Tempstar Door model keeps overfilling

The sensor is a plastic pipe (vacume) / and a ajustable switch. The rise in water causes the air pressure in the pipe to increase and at the set level this stops the water inlet valve. You could disconnect the pipe and blow into it slowly and should hear the switch click. Most faults are the plastic sensor pipe blocked / obstructed and or the switch terminals (inside switch) burnt. This means that the switch must be replaced and should be set for the correct water inlet.

There is usually an overflow tray which has a shutoff valve when the tray is about to overflow water into your house. It is not located outside on your unit but inside where ever the condenser unit is. IF that tray is full of water, your unit will not turn on until it is emptied. Then you need to find out why the tray isn't draining...do you have a blocked drain pipe?

Pump Continuously surges

hi,im a hobart service tech.couple of things to try (you may already have)--check the wash arms at the seams make sure their not cracked, make sure the drain is sealed and not leaking at all.if the unit loses any water or the wash arms are cracked at the seam the unit will sound like its starving for water.make sure the unit is leveled.next time you go back if its acting up pour a half gallon of water in the tank and see if it runs correctly,if it does you could be losing water or the water fill vave could be acting up and not letting enough water in.let me know.
