Hi If you can't connect to your wireless printer, you may have the wrong driver installed. Printer drivers are updated when new versions of operating systems are released, or when security updates are necessary. If you're trying to connect a new wireless printer, check the manufacturer's website to find out if a new driver has been released for your model number and operating system. Go to "All Programs" in the Start menu. Find your wireless printer and right-click to select "Uninstall." The driver will be uninstalled. Close out the programs window. Double-click the new driver on your desktop to unzip and install it. This should take only a second, and you may not see any dialog box or pop-up menu. Open a document and choose "File" and "Print." The print dialog box will open. Click "Add a printer." The add printer wizard will begin. Browse to the driver you just installed and select it when prompted. Print the document you opened. It should print to the wireless printer. You can click the "Make default printer" box before you print if you want. Install the driver in the same manner on all the other network computers. You can copy the driver onto a flash drive and copy it from computer to computer to avoid downloading it multiple times. Please get back to us if you have further query else please accept the suggestion.
Download the latest print driver to your desktop. Print drivers allow the computer and printer to communicate, so the wrong driver will make connectivity impossible.
Thank you for contacting fixya.com
A quick fix for most communication errors can be achieved
by resetting the printer and/or rebooting the PC. Frequently, issues are caused
simply by a break in the signal sent from PC to printer or vice versa.
Unplugging and re-plugging the printer allows the small amount of on-board
memory on the printer to be cleared, with the result that the PC recognizes the
machine properly. Programs continuing to run in the background of the operating
system (OS) can cause the signal to be lost. Rebooting the PC ends all programs
that may be running and makes a 'clean' start, allowing the signal to be
detected.
It could also be a firewall issue. Make sure to allow full access to all Lexmark software
and printer communication processes in the program rules/permissions for your
firewall.

Place your printer where it receives
excellent wireless signal quality and away from other electronic devices which
can cause wireless interferences (e.g. cordless phones, microwave ovens, baby
monitors, garage door openers, and other wireless electronics). You can also refer to these articles in the Lexmark website for further troubleshooting: How to identify a Wireless Communication Problem and Resolution Tips & Communication Not Available
