Stick your key in the ignition and turn to start. That should stop the alarm. However, it sounds like your battery still isn't fully charged. Computer things go haywire when battery voltage is 9.6 volts or less.
First use a battery charger to charge the battery, instead of a jump start. Second, with a complete dead battery you may want to pull the connection for the horn under the hood till the battery is completely charged.
your remote is picking up another signal some place and your cars being haunted by it reset alarm settings now the other problem is your battery is getting weak loosing its charge because its constantly on simple get charger to trickel charge system or replace battery
If you are completly without power for anything, you are most likly looking at a bad ground wire. Check the ground on the battery and follow the negative battery cable down to where it connects to the engine. Below are 2 pictures as I am not sure which engine size you have. The first is the location of that main ground from the battery for the 4.0 liter engine and the second is the location for the 2.5 liter engine. Sounds as if it's as simple as that if you are not getttting anything at all. Hope this helps.....
Only Recharge the Battery with both the Cables: Positive and Negative removed from the Battery.
With the Charger OFF the Battery - Reset your Alarm turning it OFF.
Then Disconnect the Battery completely.
Never Recharge a Battery while it is still connected.
is the car alarm on? do the head light go dim when you try to start the car up? if they do, its likley to be just a dead flat battery take it off and fully charge it up on a mains charger,,,takes about 2 days??? if its any good! you could try a jump start with a good car battery as well,,,if all this falies look at the starter motor,,,
if voltage reulator on alt. does not stop current after battery is charged it will over charge battery abd can drain cell from boiling electrolite out.check 4 bulged battery case(swelling) indication of overchaeging.the start problem could be your starter wires connection.remove starter wires clean contacts and torque respectively.dont forget the ground to motor.sounds like a loose or corroded contact somewhere.
make sure battery cables are secure on or into the battery and not loose. If cables are loose it will cause your alternater to fail therfore not fully keeping battery charged. If battery cables are not loose replace battery.
