Follow these steps: 1. Connect the camera to the printer. 2. Turn on the printer. 3. Turn the Mode dial to Playback mode and turn the camera on. 4. Press the (+) button on the camera. 5. Press the up or down button, choose Select images, then press the OK button. Note: If you see the message “Use previous print order selection?” select No, then press the OK button. 6. The images display as thumbnails. Select the first photo to print using the < or > button. 7. Select the number of copies to print using the up or down button, press OK. The screen displays the print settings and the number of copies selected. 8. Press the MENU button to return to thumbnails. 9. Repeat steps 6, 7, and 8 to select additional images. 10. After you select all the images to print, press the MENU button. 11. Press the up or down button to select Print an Album. 12. Select the number of photos per page using the < or > button, then press the OK button. Note: To determine the maximum number of images your printer can print per page see the table below. If you select more images per page than the printer supports, the camera will display the error “This function is not available”.

I would like to know how to take a double exposure with my NikonD90 Thank you Graham.T

The camera doesn't allow you to take multiple exposures in the same sense that film cameras did. However, you can overlay two pictures onto one using the Image Overlay feature in the Retouch menu, if you take the pictures in RAW mode.

Refer to the "Retouch Menu" section, "Image Overlay" subsection of the manual (page 218 in my copy). If you need a manual, you can download one from
http://support.nikonusa.com/app/answers/detail/a_id/16087
and/or order a printed one from

I want to print the date on the image when the picture was taken by sony cybershot DSC T90

The new models do not have the feature of superimposing directly as many customers did not want this feature because accidentally they had this option On and the Date and Time stamp got printed on the photos even they didn't want it.

However, the new cameras that are equipped with the EXIF technology gives you an option to superimpose the date and time later by using compatible third party EXIF software.

You can also connect the camera to a Pictbridge compatible Printer to print the images with Date and Time.

You can also use the supplied Picture Motion Browser to insert date and time on still images. Please click hear to get the instructions.

Please let me know if you require any assistance.
Thanks for understanding.

We have a Canon EOS 500D. After using it for 18 months we suddenly have a Raw notice and cannot print photos. We dont know where this has come from or to get rid of it. Advise please.

Sounds to me as if someone has set the image "Quality" to RAW files which are more for a professional or advanced amateur use. Page 70 of your owners manual will show you how to set this "Quality" to jpg. I'm going to include a screen shot of this page because it has diagrams and instructions far better then what I can explain just in type.

Also the RAW files you have must me downloaded to your computer, opened in your image software program and converted to jpg file format before you can print, e-mail or any other "normal" thing people do with jpg format.

RAW is just that the actual raw file of the image captured where as the jpg file format is the compressed version with corrections already made in camera. RAW files need correction in post processing.

I suspect you are using the Rebel's direct printing feature which can not process RAW file format, I don't think you want to print RAW as there has been not corrections.

I know this will help.

Here is the diagrams.

How to insert date

Hi,

This Camera does not have the feature for superimposing the dates on images. The new models do not have the feature of superimposing directly as many customers did not want this feature because accidentally they had this option On and the Date and Time stamp got printed on the photos even they didn't want it.
However, the new cameras that are equipped with the EXIF technology gives you an option to superimpose the date and time later by using compatible EXIF software. When you print the images at a shop, images can be printed with the date if you ask them to do so.
You can use the Picture Motion Browser Software for inserting the date and time. Click here for the steps to insert the date using the Software.
You can also connect the camera to a Pictbridge compatible Printer to print the images with Date and Time. You can also use the MS Paint to insert the Date & Time.

Thanks for using FixYa.

I bought this camera 2 days back, its cool but then the problem with it is that the resolution of the images is too small, im not satisfied with the size of the images, they are too small.i thought was...

Any camera with even low resolution can have pictures printed out as large as one wants, up to a full page. If you are using Windows 7, Vista, or XP you can print out pictures larger than what the software that came with the camera can print out, using the sizing feature of windows print for pictures.

The software that came with the camera may also have this resizing feature, but any picture in the my pictures folder can be printed out to any popular size.

Canon Manual 520a .

Depending on the type of printer you have, you might be able to print multiple "digital" pages ("N-UP" is one way of describing it) per physical page.
Basically that scales the output (makes it smaller) so that you can get more than one page per sheet of paper. The only drawback is that it might end up being too small to read.
Not every printer has this feature, however. You can definitely use the "Print Preview" function to show you how many physical pages will be output before you actually print. That should let you know how many pages the manual will really use when it comes time to print.
Good Luck!

Are you printing the images directly off the card or as loaded into computer? Do you use an image editor? I assume not becuse this is correctable. If you do not use an image editor download picasa[just Google picasa] learn to use it and then try.

Exif Print or PIM Print feature

The printing information that is included as part of the Exif 2.2 header in the JPEG file, is read and used by a Print Image Matching enabled printer. If you have a compatible printer that has a built in media slot, you can insert the digital camera’s memory card into a card reader and then into a printer’s media slot. If you do not have a printer that accepts a card directly, you can use a plug-in for a graphics program such as Adobe PhotoShop 7.0, to utilize this information. CAMEDIA Master 4.03 and above supports Exif Print and PIM.

Two copies of the same image printed

Batch printing all images in camera memory while the camera's album generator feature is enabled, will cause such duplicate printing. This is because the album generator creates two images in camera memory: the normal image and a preview image. Batch printing all images will result in the camera printing both the normal image and the preview image. What you should do - Use the camera's DPOF settings to specify the images you want to print. Using DPOF is very simple, and it eliminates the problem of double prints. * See the User's Guide for details about DPOF image settings, specifying the number of copies, date stamping, etc. - The album generation feature also has a delete function for deleting generated album data, so you could also delete the album before batch printing.
