You need to try this monitor with another PC first to make sure it is not the PC problem.
This VA 2226 is known to have bad DC filter caps as shown in my pictures here:

But we need to make sure it is not the PC problem first.

Or www.digikey.com just make sure to use caps with low ESR, 105c, high ripple current, long life rating such as PANASONIC FM or FC series.

Viewsonic VA2226w blue light flashes but no picture

Hello,

The most common cause of a flashing power light is a shorted power supply board. The filter capacitors on the boards go out and this causes the board to not be able to start up correctly so you get the flashing power light. The board can be repaired by replacing the defective capacitors. Here is a link to a kit you can get with the proper capacitors to d the job.

ViewSonic VA1930wm Screen stays on for about 2 seconds, and then goes off. 1) If no computer is connected you get a "no signal" message which stays for about 1 seconds and then goes off; blue...

Very typical of View Sonic. Sounds like a back backlight or inverter. I would go to www.viewsonic.com and open up a RMA. Most view sonic screens have a 3 year warranty. They will repair at no cost ..(if it is within that period) There is a date code on the back of the screen that will help you validate the above information.

OSD and Power Lock Settings
• OSD Lock: Press and hold [1] and the up arrow 􀁓 for 10 seconds. If any buttons are
pressed the message OSD Locked will display for 5 seconds.
• OSD Unlock: Press and hold [1] and the up arrow 􀁓 again for 10 seconds.
• Power Button Lock: Press and hold [1] and the down arrow 􀁔 for 10 seconds. If the

Sound on the View Sonic Monitor

Yes, they are on the front of the screen. There should be a volume up and down button right on the front (usually to the left of the power). If there isn't a separate up and down, try the Menu or 1 and 2 buttons.
