Question about Televison & Video
Colored lines runnning vertical or horizontal are all indications that either the display electrode or address electrode has suffered damage. Because of the manner in which these units are manufactured there is a slim to none chance of it being repaired by a local repairman without replacing the screen which depending on the unit may make it a better solution to buy a new TV. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news but I assume you were prepared for the worst.Hope this helps you.
