Question about FrancisFrancis! X5 Espresso Machine
Can you share the source from which you found the "Saeco-X1" element? ("...The part number for the Saaco is MCP 42 07. The element is 120 Volts and 900 Watts....") My quick Google search hasn't taken me anywhere easily yet.
My X5 appears as if it has the identical element - 1-1/2" ID, 2-3/8" OD, 2-1/2" from flat side to bulkhead seals, and about a 1-9/16" center-center at the terminals, same four element turns...and yeah, it's all really metric, but...
I picked up my Saeco element for my X1 repair at this location in Ricmond, British Columbia, Canada. They carry the part in stock.
The part was 48 CDN dollars.
