Broken lenticular screen

I have been looking around for one myself. And have actually resorted to calling all of the "Mom&Pop" repair shops in town to see if they have one in the backroom or something. The problem is that most of the finds you get for lenticular on the web have to do with advertising signs and baseball cards. These lenticular sheets are only similar in how they feel to the touch. The lenticular lense on a rear projection tv actually blocks the image behind it and diffuses the light at specific angles. It is also very likely the specific manufacturers used slightly different pitches in the viewing angle, so that you have to replace it with their screen. I will definately continue to watch this posting because I need one as well.

TV Projection filter screen

I would not use any kind of chemicals on the screens, I definitely would not use any liquids on anything besides the screen protector, the inside screen is a Fresnel lens and will wick up moisture, the one with the vertical grooves is the Lenticular and either one will leave a mark, if you have to use liqud, I would try distilled water, but no guarrantees you will get it clean. I usually end up replacing the screens. Looking at your post you said filter, do you mean an air filter? I dont think these sets us an air filter, if it was just dust a t-shirt or microfiber towel usually work, the towel being my choice.
