Clothes aren't drying...

First check and clean the lint trap. Next turn on the dryer and go outside to the dryer vent and make sure you have good airflow coming out. If you don't have good airflow then there is a blockage in the vent system somewhere.

Dryer will not start

we had a very similar problem on our DLE3777W LG clothes dryer. It would power up normally, all drying options and speed and heat selections behaved normally but when you tried to start the dryer the start button and the time remaining indicator would flash until the unit was turned off. Called LG and Best Buy and they could only tell us to contact a repair shop. But I realized that the light was burned out inside, so I replaced it myself to avoid being charged by the technician I was about to call. The burned out light bulb WAS the problem, as soon as it was replaced the dryer worked perfectly. I think I saved a couple of hundred dollars with a $4 light bulb. I would have been mad to have the technician show up and charge me $120 just to show up, then an hourly rate and then the bulb.
