Safety factors first, gas comes out of the tube the burner valve is mounted on, so double check all connections first. (Use liquid soap to test) With that being said, although Viking does produce this part anymore, the body of the valve would be the same in turning and interior function. I had to rebuild a valve in the past and still works to this day. So this decision is all yours to make, as a certified service tech and if this was in my home yes I would, but I could not do this for a customer.

You need 12,000 BTU for every 500 sq ft of room space

Three 12,000 BTU window units would be close

I would recommend these two:
1. GE - AEQ12AN or Ge-Aeq12An
2. Friedrich Uni-Fit US123c0

There's no better match than these two for your wall opening. I hope this helps.

Hi; Try purchasing an up right portable ac unit. Then all you need to do is vent the hot air tube out a convienant window or dryer duct. Needs to be at least 12,OOO BTU. I size my installs to 400 sq. ft. per ton(12,000 btu)

It is called a mounting kit and can be purchased at Home Depot, Lowes, or an appliance store.
