That's the max volume for the unit. It was built that way. The volume setting is a 5-bit value, which is why it comes out to a strange number, but if you count 0, there are 32 settings total. Hence 2 to the 5th power.
But no, that's as high as it goes.

Yes, that's as high as it goes. You can use the different EQ's to make it a little louder or quieter, though,
