I have a kenmore dryer model 67832794 that stopped tumbling. Could it be a belt? And is this something I could replace myself?

Kenmore Model 67832794 shuts down after about 15min of running. Can be restarted, but will continue to shut down every 15 min. I'm guessing its a thermostat, but the schematic shows two thermostats.......

It does sound like a thermostat. The difference in the 2 would normally be that one is self resetting, and the other is non resetable. I would suggest replacing them as a pair, as every time a overheat stat operates, the operational temperature changes within it. Also, be prepared for the element to go down shortly, as overheating puts stress on the fins

Hello, My Kenmore 70 serie (model 110.72712101), will not heat up. Cleaned filter and exhaust vent. Any suggestions will be of great help. Thanks!

The ignitor is probably bad not aloowing the gas valve to come on and ignite the gas to heat the dryer. The ignitor is a flat bimetallic element that heats up when the dryer is turned on to light the burner to heat the dryer. It is usually located in the lower left section of the dryer near the burner assembly. It has two wires usually white going to it with a plug in connector on the end.

Kenmore Elite 110.7208201 won't heat up.

Hi

Please check the things that could stop a electric dryer from heating:
- House fuse or breaker (needs two of them), heating element, burnt wire, thermostat(s), thermal fuse (not all models), motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, burnt power cord/plug.
And also check the things that could stop a gas dryer from heating if you have a gas dryer:
- Glow bar igniter, thermal fuse (not all models), coils on the gas valve, gas valve, thermostats, motor heat switch, timer, selector switch, sensor.

Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or else revert for further assistance.

Thanks
Rylee
