You need to re-install the motherboard drivers for the onboard devices.

After installing the graphics card (nvidia geforce fx 5200 pci) it boots up fine then when i try to play a game it will come on then on starting the game it will just reboot please help

Make sure the graphics card can handle the games minimum requirements. if the game is trying to push more than the card can handle it will either kick you back to the desktop or reboot the computer.

Make sure the card is seated all the way in the slot. And the slot is clean, also check the power plug if it has one.

Have you installed the latest driver? Uninstall the old one and install new one after reboot. Don't install the 64bit one at the top asit's beta, good luck John

Onboard video not working

If you have configured it to be the secondary video adapter in the bios, then it will not work as it has to be set as the primary graphics. the bios will still be looking for your AGP graphics card as the primary and bypass your on board graphics. If you need to use on board graphics, right click the graphics card in properties>hardware>device manager and select dissable or uninstall.

My computer freezes

You could try with reinstalling the drivers for the graphic card. Another problem could be that you don't have all the codecs needed (But it doesn't usually freeze windows, only the software). Try downloading a codec pack from the following site: http://free-codecs.com/Codec_Packs.htm

GeForce 6200 shuts down and PC reboots

First check that overheating is'nt the problem, you can remove the sides of the pc and allow hot air to escape easier, if this cures it you need more fans, while your'e in the pc check for dust blocking fans and vents. Also visit the game makers web site for bug fixes if there are any and also go to graphics card web site (www.nvidia.com)for possible known game issues that you are playing.
