Won't power up

I have bought a secondhand 2600n laserjet but it will not power up. Yes the both the plug and printer are turned on. My husband could repair it if he knows what the problem is and where to get the part.

There is an internal fuse on the low voltage power supply, to get to it you need to remove the top covers and to do that you need to remove both the side covers. Hope this helps

I have an HP Color LaserJet 2600n. Recently I had to replace the magenta cartridge. I bought a 3rd-party cartridge and the printer display shows that magenta is now "full." But, it won't...

I guess you should try to reset it ..and get the cartridge out and see if the toner (ink ) is getting out ..by pressing it (with the part where you removed the tape ) on some absorbent paper ..when it is working well it should leave a mark on the paper ..the mark should be not washed ...but real color and all...
If it do not ..just use a syringe and blow air in the cartridge ..just to agitate it ..and make sure it is not dry ..
Insert it back ..repeat the procedure until works ..and also if you have the procedure ..reset it ..

HP LaserJet 2600N All colors are empty, but Black is brand new. It still says Replace Supplies and the light keeps flashing. Oh, and it won't print anything. So even if I want just B&W, do...

None of the cartridges can be empty if you want to print.
Even if you only want to print black, just black you need to
replace the other three cartridges.
Yes color laser printing is expensive.

No black printing out in my 2600n printer

Try taking the black toner cartridge out, hold it by its ends and rock it back and forth several times. Also gently tap on the catridge a few times too. This will dislodge and redistribute the toner which is still inside.

Cleaning

Yes , you can manually clean the printer usually you can use a lint free cloth to do so. I don't recommend taking canned air and blowing it out. As far as the ghosting goes yes you seem to have a fuser problem and best case is to have service done to replace the fuser!! Hope I have helped!!!
