Question about Apple iPod nano
I had to restore my computer that I installed the IPOD Nano onto. The computer does not hve the library that support the IPOD Music. I attempted to reset the IPOD to factrory setting but the music is still there. I tried a different computer uninstalled the old ITunes and clear the registries of all old files. I downloaded the new IPOD software 7.7 from the website but it is stil not recognizing the IPOD. I attempted before the download of the software to use Windows Media Player to backup the file. At this point how do I format this IPOD to remove the old files and start it new.
You should have a driver installed on your computer that allows you to sync the computer to the Ipod using the USB port. just upload the the files to the computer .this should should clear the files from the I pod. if you installed a update in your Ipod then you have to install an update for the driver to the computer as well. Sometimes windows media player has trouble with certain players and formats. if it is a format problem, that means you do not have the right codec so the computer can't read the file a window should pop up and allow you to download the right codec. you can also try using a different player on the computer like rhapsody or jukebox often times there are less problems with this program.. good luck please rate this...thanks
