Open the properties screen that you would normally use to change the desktop and click on the last tab on the top and you can change the resolution from there. If that dosen't work tell em and I will go into more advanced troubleshooting techniques.

best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repairmen in the US.
the service is completely free and covers almost anything you can think of (from cars to computers, handyman, and even drones).

Battle Realms: Winter Of The Wolf Resolution cannot play in widescreen Intel graphic and AMD RAEDON graphic

If you see black labels at both sides of screen you have to change screen properties in your Graphics Cards's main panel, I mean open yout Intel's main panel, go to Screen or Resolution section or tab, then search through an option that might be like "Image Scale" or something like that and change it to: keep scale

Important note: if you see it in grey color, you might first change your resolution to a lower one, then you would see it enabled or with more options :)

What is the combination of keys (shortcut) to change the screen resolution (not orientation).

There is no Fn-Fx key combination to change screen resolution (at leat on my R10 running Windows XP. Even if you create a shortcut to open the graphics properties you still have to open the relevant tab manually to change resolutions.
You can open the Intel Extreme Graphics 2 for mobile icon on the tray, go to the graphic properties change the resolution and save as a scheme. With a customized scheme defined you will be able to click the Intel Graphic properties and select that scheme. But be careful, your tablet pen will no longer be calibrated with the available screen area.
I tried on my R10 (native resolution 1024x768) and all I could select was 800x600@ 60Hz.

Screen resolution not changing even i changed it in the display properties. it is remaining same. When i was starting my desktop it is saying that your screen resolution is too low and colour depth is too...

Hello Friend,

Please visit below URl and download display drivers from "Video" section. If your computer having intel graphic card then please download intel driver or if your computer is having ATI graphic card then please download ATI driver

After downloading the driver install and reboot your system once.

This might fix your resolution problem.

Display resolution goes from 1024x600 to 800x600 at start up.

try reinstalling the drivers for the onboard graphics and for the monitor. Might be the monitor is not supporting the default resolution.

Try to install the latest drivers here: http://downloadcenter.intel.com/Detail_Desc.aspx?agr=N&ProductID=2876&DwnldID=14386&strOSs=44&OSFullName=Windows*%20XP%20Professional&lang=eng

And attempt to use the intel application in the system tray to configure the resolution, not the windows display utility.
