My dear friend if your remote control got the code search button try with this.
Push and hold code search button until the led stand lit,now release him push and release the tv button the you need to push and release the power button until the tv set turns off push and release the button set and the code get in the memory of the remote.
You need to turn the tv manually.

Your remote control however may need to be reprogrammed, so I would look for the manual download for your Remote using the model # of the remote, Unless you are using a service procided remote, and then you would need to find the information in that manual (Direc Tv, Comcast, whatever.)
The unit is in protect mode. The outputs are fried in all likelyhood. This can be repaired. Figure on $5-$15 for parts plus the local labor rate for the total repair cost.
