The actual Temp. Sensor on a 5.7 is located on drivers side and screws into the side of the engine. Should have a wire connected to it. Just below where the Valve cover mounts to the head. This sensor is the one that provides the information to the Temperature Gauge in the dash.

So you know, there is another Temp. Sensor (but this is actually a switch). It is located at the front Top of engine right around the Thermostat housing. This would have a 2 wire plug going to it.

Wherer is the thermostat on a hyundai elantra

There are at least 3 thermostats on your vehicle: One controls the electric cooling fan for the engine and its sensor is on the front radiator, the second is the passenger heating thermostat located under the dash board regulated by the switch on the dash board, The third is the thermostat housed in the cooling lines that opens at 180-190 degrees located on the top of the block water jacket where one of the heater hoses connects to its housing.

Cycle stops at water heating. Water gets too hot and cycle can only be moved on manually. Is this indicative of a faulty thermostat? Where is the thermostat located

Sounds like it.
It is actually called a thermistor, and is located at the end of the heater element.
Which in turn is located at the rear of the washer drum.To gain access, remove lower rear cover of washer, and you will see the element and thermistor there.
To remove the thermistor, slacken the centrt nut securing element, and withdraw the thermistor.
Fit new thermistor, tighten up nut, and that is it.
If problem persists, then it is going to be a faulty pcb.

Where is the thermostat located on a 2000 mazda 626 2.0L

The thermostat on the 2.0 is located on the right front of the engine. It is in the thermostat housing at the engine end of the lower radiator hose. According to the auto parts stores, there is a square thermostat gasket required, however, this is not correct. On the actual thermostat, there is just a rubber gasket that goes around the thermostat itself.

Where is thermostat

Looking from the front.
The thermostat is located behind a piece of the exhaust manifold on the driver side of the engine bay. It's underneath the mass air apparatus. It will take some tight tools and careful "fanagling" to get it out but it can be done without removing the manifold. Take your time and take breaks. It won;t be easy.

Clarification: it is located on the block on the back of the engine, meaning the actual back (remember this is a front wheel drive car and the engine is sideways.) Some people assume it's on the side of the block (like a lot of other engines) but it is not there. Look to your right behind the exhaust manifold (it wraps around).

It's underneath the "E" area in this pic:

Hamilton Beach 87330 hot water problem.

The two round "devices" on the tank are the operational thermostat, and the "safety" overtemp thermostat. It is usually the "operational" thermostat that fails, since it has to cycle a lot and arc internally. It is usually about 120-140 degrees F., and the safety thermostat significantly higher.

How to i change thermostat in 2005 trailblazer

The thermostat is located behind and slightly below the alternator on the drivers side. For the best access to the thermostat, you should unbolt and move the alternator to reach the upper bolt. The lower Thermostat bolt can be reached by taking off the front drivers side tire and reaching in with a 24" extension. The actual bolts are 10mm. Hope this helps...

Where is location of coolant sensor land rover discovery 2?

The temp sender should be located on the front of the intake manifold (big molded metal thing between the cylinder heads that the carbs are mounted to). The thermostat housing will be in the lower center front of the manifold with two temp sensors leading out but these are not the ones you want. You want the temp sensor that is actually bolted into the manifold on one of the sides. The sensor is most likely be an M16X1.5 threaded sensor with a single electrical lead coming out of it, but you will need to look at your existing sender to be sure.
