All in one Lexmark X1270 printer

Prints b lue lines on pink and also very red when copying a photograph
tried re-installing and re-alingment no luck

    Prints blue or red lines through color documents. All colors are not correct either

Check your printer color setting  and adjust the color that you need second calibrate your printer third is check your cable or usb cable 4th check the website for new drivers update.........thats it!!

I presume you are using the Lexmark X1270 inkjet printer since you're posting under this model.
It could be that the printer driver on your computer is not properly installed. Try to uninstall your existing printer driver then reinstall using the X1270 driver on the Lexmark website. To uninstall, from your computer, go to Start menu > Programs > Lexmark X1200 Series folder > Tools > Uninstall. After the uninstall process, reboot your pc when prompted.
When the computer turns on, please visit the Lexmark website to download and install the Lexmark X1270 XP Printer Driver on your computer. Select your operating system > click on "FILTER" > click on the driver under Recommended Downloads > download and execute the file. Simply follow the instructions on your computer screen to complete the installation.
Try to print your document again to verify that the problem is fixed now.

Same problem with x5650, using a genuine lexmark cartridge


Okay, sometimes the contacts points on the side of the cartridge are contaminated. Take a clean (pink) pencil eraser and rub the contact points. Blow any residual off of the contacts and then reinstall the contacts. Some Lexmark printer require that you use the maintenance utilities to install the cartridge and align it. It concerns me that the printer sees the cartridge when you make a copy. I strongly suspect that the cartridge is defective. Otherwise why would it fail in one mode and not the other. Have you verified the driver properties to make sure that you are not set for color only printing? Software will override the setting on the printer. Don

Some time it prints in pink


Do you see the color cartridge icon in the progress window being low ?. Or do you get an low ink warning dialog when you print a job. First try cleaning the cartridges if that doesnt help, you may need to replace your color cartridge.

Lexmark X1270 all in one printer


Tru completely uninstalling it and reinstalling it from disc. The scanner settings may have corrupted. Cheers lilacgerry

If you have the original installation disc, reinstall the software.
Windows probably trashed the Lexmark software.

If you hear the machine working when you try to copy or scan and the light source doesn't come on, you will need the lamp replaced; on some units and easy job, on others, you may end up saying 'to hell with it.'

Cant install properley!!

Essentially, You need to delete files from your windows temp folder and retry the install again. Good luck.
