Question about Dell Precision Workstation 670 PC Desktop
Hi, I just bought this Dell Precision 670, and after starting, it displays the hard drive: SCSI 73GB, but then renders "No logical drives found" and then "BIOS not installed!" I am unable to understand what went wrong, or if the BIOS is really damaged. I don't know how the BIOS could not be installed because I can go into the setup and change settings as I like. Please help. Thanks.
You need to enable the scsi in bios.

I think this means that the harddrive needs to be refoarmated as the bios sees no logical drive in which the boot.ini file resides

The "BIOS not installed"refers to the SCSI adapter's BIOS, not the system BIOS. It does not install because the hard drive is empty. Access the host adapter's setup program and create logical drives.
