A ticket number is usually assigned to you after you submit an issue or question w/ most companies. If you have not already attempted to contacting them, I would suggest doing so to resolve your problem. If you registered you security software, you should be able to give them your email address and call them for your activation code. http://www.pctools.com/support/phone/ Try using your email address in the blank field, then call if it works.
All you have to do is to install it on the new system that does not have it already. After installation, you would be asked to enter the serial number or code. Just input the same serial number you input before and it should be activated. If you are using the multi-user version(the version designed to work with more than one computer) this should solve your problem and everything should be fine. The serial number is usually valid for 3 different computers at a time. Hope this was helpful?
yep ..it does happen sometimes with this kinda anti-viruses ..I even get it once with avira into a pc...it has protected files ,,and all they say is that installation has been unsuccessful ..like you I tried..all kinda miracle programs to remove ...even some move-on-boot ..made by a Russian that worked like a charm till than ...solution ....??? if you really want to get rid of that ..you have to reinstall the operation system ...and my advise is to proceed for a AVG 8.5 free... its reliable ..simple ..efficient free and you can set it to scan when you want to do what you want even to update daily at what hour you want..
you should have received an email with the activation code in it. If not, the email will have a tech support email or phone number. Good luck
BTW, I never pay for antivirus or spyware programs. I use Avast! antivirus. It's free and comes with a spyware program that is also free. I also browse the internet with FireFox which has all kinds of embedded security unlike Internet Explorer. you can download Firefox from the Mozilla website.
