But did you check if the pictures are save on the camera by connecting it to a computer and see the files on the camera? so we can check if the camera is not really saving the photo that your taking...

My i85 camera's lcd no longer displays what you are looking at. Just a black screen. All the menu items are there and working. The battery is charged. The power button is working as well as the lens open, but no image is available just a black screen. When I I try to take pic is showed very low light but doen't show image of pic taken when I check. hey my camera just did the same thing, have you tried replacing the batteries - i thought it couldnt be the batteries because the playback screen still showeed up just not the one to take photos but i just put in newly recharged ones and it can take pics again so maybe try that :)

The Display button manually turns the LCD display on or off to save batteries. If you accidentally had turned the LCD off, It should only take one press of the button to turn it back on and leave it that way. As such, it's not you but the camera. The A570 IS is relatively new. Your camera is likely still under warranty. If so, contact Canon for warranty repair (see the following link):
If you mean you see no picture on the lcd monitor before you take the picture and see it only after you have taken it than this is normal with digital SLRs.
But if you mean you see nothing on the lcd monitor after you have taken a picture ( no playback ) then either the shutter is not working , or the CMOS sensor is not working or the camera is not communicating with CF card.
