Try removing the USB receiver, even though the mouse is still working, and re-insert it. We want to prompt the receiver to reconnect with both devices.
If the keyboard still fails to connect see if it has a button to manually connect... the button may be tiny.
Need more information but normally you would hook up the infrared device or usb device to the laptop. Then you would make sure that the keyboard and mouse has new batteries in it. At that point windows should recognize the mouse and keyboard. You may have to push on the connect buttons on the keyboad or mouse to get the laptop to recognize them.
Other then that its not really hard. Just time consuming if it doesn't take right away. Most of the time you don't need software installed unless the manual tells you to install them because windows will recognize them.
check your batterys with a flashlight after that push the buton on your recever. then push the keyboad reset and last do the mouse. if that don't do it switch and do the mouse first then the key board. keep close to the recever it works better
I had the same problem, please check if the batteries are fitted properly, if not the put them properly, it should solve the problem.
Batteries on Mouse/Keyboad and reciever(if any), if its a optical kind of thing, it gives problem, later I got the laser one, it works perfect.
Hi there Underneath the keyboard you will find a little button which says "connect" press it then try to type. If its not there it may be on the mouse docking station if you have one.
The warrenty period is usually a year. Is there a connection button on the receiver as well? Normally you need to press the connect button on the mouse, and then on the receiver shortly there after. If you want to replace it, you might have an easier time just getting a new mouse.
