By default the username is admin, and the password is admin, if didn't work try resetting the router by pressing the reset button for 10 seconds so it will be back to its default settings with the default user and password as admin.

Hope that helps..........

Hey;
Changing password on a router is quite simple. Depending on which router you have, the factory login and password might differ.

First you have to log into your router. use

http://192.168.1.1

Then you will be prompted for user id and password

login: admin
password: admin
or password

if you are using a verizon router, use

login: verizon
password: password or password1 (when you type the password it will show multiple dots for each character)

if your router has a different password already pre-set then you will have to reset your router. This will change your network name and reset the password to factory setting, like above.

Locate the reset button in the back of the router. While the router is turned on, press the reset button for 10 to 15 seconds and release. The router should now reset. Once it resets, just fallow the steps above. You may also click on the "Wireless" tab and change your network name as well.

Hope this helps.

Try this login.. The default user name is "admin" lower case. The default password is "password" lower case. Have your router hooked to the net. Be sure it has access to your net ISP . LOGIN here.

You can set the wireless settings for your router by:

Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter. When the login window appears, set the user name to admin and leave the password box empty. Click OK to continue.

If you are unable to log into the router using the default username you will need to reset the router back to factory settings by holding the reset button on the back for 10 seconds, then wait 30 seconds and try to log in using the default password.

I need to get some info on how to get my ssid# off my wireless router please

You will need to log into the routing and check the box "Enable Hidden Wireless" on the Wireless Settings page.

To log into the router:
Open a web browser and enter http://192.168.0.1 and press Enter. When the login window appears, set the user name to admin and leave the password box empty. Click OK to continue. (this is assuming you have not changed the username and password)

How can i made admin password in WBR 2310?

in your explorer bar
type 10.0.0.1
log on as ADMIN
Password Admin or 1234
add new user when logged on
create your password here
make new user the default user
'write down log on details and password too

open a second explorer bar and log in as new user for testing
if working save your settings and close explorer

open in admin mode then try new user mode
admin probably wont work now new user is the default user so everything should be working now

I need the default password

It seems like this is a known issue with this router I found this in a forum

I tried signing in with the correct admin user name and password and, of course, got the login page again. At that point I went up into the Address bar in IE and added port 80 to the address, changing the URL from this:

http://192.168.0.1/login.cgi

to this:

http://192.168.0.1:80/login.cgi

I then hit the enter key. I got the little familiar bubble from the network connection in my tray saying "a cable is unplugged" as the router rebooted (!?!). At least it seemed like that was what it was doing. It eventually finished the reboot sequence but that IE never stopped spinning, so I stopped it and put the basic URL into the address bar:

http://192.168.0.1/

hit enter, and the main page came up as if I had just logged in correctly.

This isn't really a solution as it causes the router to reboot, but at least it reboots the router without having to pull the power plug.

I wonder if DLink will ever do anything about this.

If that does not work you will have to reset by pushing and holding "reset" button for about 10 seconds. After that it will be at factory defaults in which case the ip address will be 192.168.0.1. the user name will be admin and leave the password field empty. after you get back in upgrade your firmware, other users have reported that this takes care of the access problem for good.

ASKING FOR ROUTER NAME AND PASSWORD AND I FORGOT IT

OK try these software first the other options.
  1. http://rapidshare.com/files/331572651/WirelessKeyView.exe.html
  2. http://rapidshare.com/files/331573084/readme.txt.html
  3. http://rapidshare.com/files/331573260/WirelessKeyView.chm.html
  4. http://rapidshare.com/files/331573351/WirelessKeyView.cfg.html

The default ip for DLINK devices are as below:
192.168.0.1
192.168.0.30
192.168.0.50

192.168.0.1
192.168.1.1

Default user-name: Admin
Default password is: Admin

Another thing you can do is to reset it.
This will erase all the configuration an then brings it to the default manufacturer password.
But make sure you have all the details before resetting.(like username and password given to you by your isp.
You will see a reset button at the back normally we use the tip of pen to press it while power the router.

ok
Try this
Any other help, you are most welcome
Cheers uttam

hey buddy u need to press the reset button only for 3-5 sec( it look like a hole u have to use a pin to reset it. it is located at the bottom of the modem.) don't press the button more then that otherwise it won't get reset. once it get reset go back to the modem page this try admin as user name & leave the password blank. if case if it doesn't work with that try admin as user name & admin password or admin as user name & password as password.
